Amethyst, Sterling Silver Pierced Shell Necklace

I have always enjoyed piercing out these shells from flat sheet sterling silver bringing a plain piece of metal to life. Once cut out I add texture to the surface of the metal, finished off with a 8mm amethyst bead on an 18 inch sterling silver snake chain. Amethyst is a natural tranqiliser, it relieves stress and strain, soothing irratability, balances mood swings, dispels anger, rage, fear and anxiety. it alleviates sadness and grief and disolves negativity. Coupled with the healing and restorative power of silver which amplifies the properties of the gemstones. Shell size 20mm, Due to the handmade nature of my work size and colour may vary.
